Privacy Policy

Last updated June 2026

Redstone Studio is a free browser tool for building Minecraft redstone circuits. We collect as little as possible — you can design, simulate and share circuits without ever making an account. This page explains what we store when you do sign in, and why.

What we collect

Without an account: nothing that identifies you. Circuits you build stay in your browser until you choose to save or share them.

With an account: your email address (used only to sign in via one-time codes), the circuits you save, and — if you use the AI assistant — your AI provider API key, which is encrypted before it is stored.

Operational logs: our hosting provider records basic request data (such as IP address and timestamps) to keep the service running and to prevent abuse.

How we use it

To sign you in, save and serve your circuits, power the optional AI assistant with the key you provide, and protect the service from spam and abuse. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third-party services

We rely on Cloudflare for hosting, storage and bot protection (Turnstile), and on Resend to deliver sign-in emails. If you use the AI assistant, your prompts and circuit are sent to the AI provider you choose (such as Google Gemini or DeepSeek) under that provider's own privacy terms.

Data retention & your choices

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your saved circuits at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing support@redstonestudio.org.

Cookies & local storage

We use a small number of essential cookies and browser storage — to remember your language, keep you signed in, and hold a circuit you are editing. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Children

Redstone Studio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
